How to do Puja
Perform the puja during Pradosh Kaal (after sunset). Gather near the bonfire with family.
- Worship Lord Ganesha first for success.
- Offer water and Akshat to the Holika pile.
- Circumambulate (Parikrama) the fire 3 or 7 times.
- Offer the raw cotton thread around the bonfire while praying.
- Offer roasted grains (Jau) into the fire as a symbol of abundance.
